Notable Weaknesses: Matt has most of the physical weaknesses of an average supra. However, due to his physical training and decent armoring he can take more of a punch than a normal one would. Due to his lack of field experience, it is easy to take advantage of his drilled training exercises by working him into a groove of blocking and attacking, then suddenly shattering that groove. Due to his inner desire to help people, taking hostages is a good way to threaten him.

Build: His build is interesting, it’s big enough to take several hits, and small enough to not hamper his movement. His is very muscular, but not overly so.
Tattoos/Piercings: Matt has no tattoos or piercings, however, he has several scars on his back and chest.
Other: Matt will usually wear standard civilian garb in that of a t-shirt and jeans. His t-shirts typically range from depictions of scenes from works of fantasy or science fiction, or the names of his favorite bands. He also usually carries a backpack around with him, as it contains something very useful (his costume)...
Other(Costume): The Hood costume is one that has come about after many months of time on the drawing board. The most noticeable aspect of his costume would be the hoodie-like garment he wears. The hoodie is a dark shade of red, and appears to be made of a cloth. Externally, it is, however on it’s inner layers it has been layered with strong fireproof material called nomex, as well as being lined with lead to prevent those who posses x-ray technology(or those with a vire for x-ray vision..) from discovering his true identity. Under his hoodie he wears several pieces of kevlar and numerous stab-plates, protecting him and allowing him to take more of a beating than an average Supra. His pants are tough, black jeans, except it has armor plating on the outside, as well as a small amount of kevlar on the inside. For his mask, he wears a simple black domino mask with thin, white tinted plates of glass covering the eyes. He also carries a pair of black tinted goggles for adverse weather situations. Over his mouth he has a black lead-lined bandana, this serves no practical purpose other than to conceal his identity. He also wears a yellow utility-bandolier across his chest. His gloves are black, and insulated, with nomex of course. They have built in brass knuckles to give him extra power behind his punch. He also wears black, steel toed boots. His whole costume has been treated with a special chemical that reduces scent footprint to not nearly enough for a bloodhound to track, to none.

Other: Matt is generally a laid back kinda guy, he likes to hang out and listen to music and play video games. However, most of the time, he’d prefer to be running around in his costume, and doing parkour especially. He’s not a very serious fellow, the type to make witty quips while an enraged supra with a vire for super strength attempts to punch his skull in. He his humor is the type that will either get him considered either painfully annoying or dangerously funny. He considers himself a somewhat decent flirt, even though he consistently bombs at it. He’ll go to long lengths to protect his secret identity(which no one but him knows). He lacks field experience as his alter-ego. He has a deep, inner desire to help and save people, and to put an end to crime.
Weapons, Skills, and Gadgets: Weapons: Matt carries around several weapons. There being,

- Two SigSaucer Pistols(Fifteen round magazines, he has rubber and real bullets)
- Collapsable Reinforced Titanium Staff. Matt has come into possession of a collapsible steel staff that is one foot in length. When extended, it is five feet long.
- Combat Shurikens. Matt caries at least six combat shurikens on his person at all times. He has more than six in his stockpile, but only carries up to ten at a time.
Skills: - Martial Arts. Matt has mastered several disciplines of martial arts, on paper, anyways. He lacks much field experience to back it up.
- Marksmanship. Matt has trained extensively with his two pistols, he is a very good shot. However, he still lacks field experience, so he is likely to miss more than once.
- Detective Skills. Matt has learned common patterns of criminal behavior from a detective mentor of his. However, he still has much to learn, given that he lacks field experience.
-Acrobatics. Matt is an exceptional acrobatic, free runner, and parkourist.
Gadgets: - Drug Tipped Shurikens. Matt carries six drug tipped shurikens, that have a tranquilizer in them. However, they must get a good hit on exposed skin to come into effect, putting whoever it hits asleep for one hour. There are mostly useless in a combat situation, as the chemicals special properties only come into play when there is little to no adrenaline in the system of the one it’s affecting. He has more in his stockpile than what he carries on his person.
-Chloroform Vials. Matt has six smalls vials of chloroform attached to his utility bandolier, he’d crush one silently in his hand, and then get an unsuspecting criminal with it. It is only used in stealth situations. he has more stockpiled than he carries on his person.
-Bolas. Matt usually carries three bolas with him.
-Marbles. Matt usually carries several marbles with him, as they sound like footsteps when one is rolled down a flight of stairs, you never know when one could come in handy, and they hurt like a mother if you get hit hard enough in the right stop with one.
-Grappling Hook. Matt has a gas powered grappling device.

Living: North Ica, Mereith
History: The story of the one called Hood, or, Matt Credious, began in an unassuming little orphanage in North Ica, Mereith. The boy was roughly three at the time, and had been in the Orphanage all his life. He was dropped there anonymously by his parents two weeks after his birth, because they did not particularly have the financial means to care for the child.
However, one day there was a problem in the orphanage. There was a group of particularly large five year olds, who regularly terrorized the orphanage, given that the mostly indifferent orphanage staff didn’t care nor notice. But Matt was fed up. Many of his friends had been bullied, and he was tired of it. He snuck up on them, and managed to get one of them down, before the other two brutally beat him.
The next day a man came to visit the orphanage. He was a semi-well known comedian, and he was looking to adopt for him and his wife(who was a police detective and accomplished martial artist). The first boy he saw was Mat, with a broken arm. He inquired about him, and was told the story of the bullies. The man, having once said, “Everyone loves a hero!” Himself, took the boy under his wing as his son.
His father and mother raised him well, and with much love and care. He was taught good moral values, and notably how to look at the world in a very funny way from his new father. His new mother taught him more practical skills, those of detective work and martial arts, as Matt had confided in her that he would like to become a Police Officer.
He did very well in school, scoring all A’s and B’s, eventually get accepted into the Massachusetts(Or whatever the stand-in for Massachusetts is in this Universe…) Institute Of Technology, taking several courses in criminology, psychology, and detective work.
However, in his last year of College, he received word that his parents were slain by a rampaging man with a powerful vire. While attending their funeral, Matt made a decision. He would take it upon himself to battle with crime. But, he promised himself he would not fight out of anger. He would not be some dark avenger, sad over his parents death. He would be the living visage of his parents, the awesome skills of his mother, and the hilarity of his father.
He traveled abroad for several years, mostly hitchhiking as he wanted to save as much of his parents money as he could. Eventually, he met a man called Frank Zhou. Zhou had no special skills of his own, but was a very well connected businessman. He befriended Zhou(who is still today one of his dearest friends), and Zhou, hearing how Matt wished to train, connected him to numerous trainers, detectives, and masters of several martial art disciplines. With his training, he returned to Mereith, and chose to spend all the money his parents left behind, purchasing nomex, kevlar, stab plates, and various other gadgets. At the advice of Frank, he bought these using fake names to prevent possible enemies from tracking him down.
Now he is ready in Mereith for his first night as Hood...

Matt slowly milled about the street, going nowhere in particular, seeing what there was to see. it was nearing Midnight, so no people bustled about as there usually would have been. He’d been back for about a month now, still not quite sure of the moment Hood would make his debut, even though he carried the costume in his backpack that very moment.
As he walked, he saw a man, beating some poor woman, shouting “Where’s your money, bitch?”
“What are you doing man?” Matt shouted, wanting the man to stop.
The man looked over, and flipped him the bird. “F*** off!” he shouted, and went back to relentlessly beating the sobbing woman.
Matt, doing his best to act like a terrified civilian, stammered, “Ye-ye-yes sir!” And sprinted off into a nearby alleyway. In the alleyway, he began opening his backpack. It was time.
In less than a minute, he was in his Hood garb, and stalked back out onto the street, where the man still beat the woman. Surprising a thug would stay for that long, he probably just liked hurting people.
Hood reached into a small pouch of marbles, and, taking one, threw it, hard, nailing the thug in the back of the head.
The thug whipped around, looking for his attacker. Seeing her chance, the woman scurried away. Seeing him and his costume, the thug shouted,
“It ain’t Halloween, freak. Go home. You don’t belong in this neighba-hood.”
“Aww, it’s not Halloween? Tsk, tsk. I brought my goodie bag for nothing.” Hood joked, tapping his satchel of marbles.
“Speaking of goodies!”Hood reached into the bag of marbles, and, in full view threw another. The thug didn’t flinch, and allowed the marble to bounce harmlessly off his leather jacket. In a second, the thug sprinted at him, shouting “Slice and dice!” having pulled out a switchblade.
“We better not be slicin’ and dicin’ broccoli.” Hood grumbled, easily dodging away from the thug, “I hate my veggies.”
The thug raised his blade high, and came down, looking to make a huge cut across Hood’s chest. He wouldn’t get the satisfaction. Hood caught his wrist and twisted the weapon out of the crooks hand.
The man, surprised for a moment, looked at him with his mouth wide, giving Hood the perfect opportunity to kick him in the face.
The man hit the ground, and Hood pulled a zip-tie out of his utility belt.
Kneeling down and tying the man up, he said, “Assuming that didn’t knock you out, which, it should have, make sure to tell all your friends about me! Maybe could hook one of them up with my friends, The Police. They sure love meeting new criminals!”
